The subdirectories contain different versions of the test suites

released - Official test suites to be used for LSB compliance testing

beta - Proposed test suites intended to eventually be used for LSB compliance
       testing. Note that you should not use the results of running these
       test suites to claim LSB compliance. The test suites may change
       before their official release.

unreleased - Test suites not (yet) intended to be used for LSB compliance
             testing.
